  • Explain the budgeting technique employed by means of worked examples.

Module 2: Elements of a budget in an area of responsibility

Outcomes:

By the end of this module, you will be able to

  • Identify the elements of the budget for the resources required to meet the objectives.
  • Internal and external constraints on a budget are identified in terms of an own organisational context.

Module 3: Monitor and control actual expenses against budget

Outcomes:

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • Monitor actual expenses according to Standard Operating Procedure.
  • Identify variances and propose corrective measures in line with standard operating procedures.
